This group of students are in charge of organizing, creating, and publicizing our events and activities. They come up with ideas on how to better help our community and spread awareness about a variety of important issues.

Being a director allows one to have lots of creative control and gets to play a large role in deciding what direction our nonprofit is going in. Meaning you can decide in what way you want to help. You get to be hands-on in engendering change with your ideas and actions in Project Unity.

As a director, you do have to attend most if not all of our public events (thus why it is preferred you live in the general area previously specified); other directors also would have to help the Director of Activities lead our events/activities.

When you apply, you apply as a General Director. You will only be put into specific roles later on, if necessary.

Takes notes during meetings

Keeps track of all of Project Unity’s records; this includes information about volunteers/directors, tracks participation from other directors and volunteers, organizes all information pertaining to the events we create, and keeps a record of the overall statistics and data collected.

Should know how to work with Google Drive folders and other Google platforms such as google docs, slides, forms, etc.

Helps maintain social media platforms

In charge of coming up with/brainstorming new ways of publicizing and increasing outreach.

**Creates the graphics for our flyers, Instagram posts, story posts, etc.

Should be able to use Canva and have a creative eye for designs.

Organizes/establishes fundraisers

Brainstorms ways to increase funds of this organization

Keeps track of ongoing fundraisers and the money spent/earned.

Manages the volunteer groups and the roles of public volunteers in our events

Assigns overall director projects

Ensures the board of directors are on track so that everything involving the organization is running smoothly

In charge of giving out updates and reminders to other directors

Communicates with the president and Vice president about updates and any concerns/questions

Their job is to make sure the other directors and leaders are doing their job.

Works with each other and other directors of the board to brainstorm and organize our community service events.

In charge of finalizing dates, times, locations, and other info needed to create an event in the city. Also keeps in contact with the cities to find locations and other help for our events.

Can create events such as food drives, park clean ups, partnerships, virtual events, and anything more to help our community.

If you'd like volunteer opportunities please contact us! Also, look at our instagram because we always post about events for students !

There is no application for our public volunteers. When we have events and you are interested in helping out and getting some community service hours, you can come and volunteer. Most of the time you will just have to fill out a form ahead of time that lets us know who you are and that you'll be coming to help us out.

As a volunteer what you will need to do will vary depending on the event/activity created, so keep an eye out for our upcoming events/activities.

If we do not have any open forms or events for you to volunteer, we do have other work you can do to help the nonprofit. For example, you can write out researches, articles, graphics, etc that help us spread awareness about important information concerning marginalized groups. If you are interested in volunteering for the nonprofit, contact us for more information.
